We are excited to offer an opportunity for students to
become a Stanislaus State Hispanic Association of Colleges
and Universities (HACU) Ambassador. Ambassadors will attend the
38th Annual HACU Conference in Aurora Colorado,
November 1-3, 2024.
Prior to attending the conference, students will attend
the Warriors Leadership Program (Emerging Leaders
Track). The Emerging Leaders Track consists of:
- Attend six (6) workshops, one from each leadership theme
- Complete ten (10) hours of community service
- Enter all workshops and community service hours into Warrior
Life with reflections
Exact dates are TBD. Attendance in the workshops is mandatory.
**Students will be required to complete an interview
before being selected.

- 1-2 page essay stating reasons for your interest in the
Ambassador Program and how this conference will benefit your
educational and professional development. Letter of
recommendation from Stan State staff.
Who may apply:
Undergraduate students who are citizens or permanent residents of
the U.S. currently enrolled at Stanislaus State. Priority will be
given to students identifying as traditionally underserved
minorities and first-generation college students interested in
and potentially committed to careers in the food safety/food
science and agriculture field. Students in other STEM-related
majors will also be given strong consideration.
