Program Overview
The RN-MSN Bridge program offers an alternative pathway for students that have been awarded a non-nursing baccalaureate degree and an Associate Degree in Nursing to be eligible to apply for the MSN-Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program without having earned a BSN. Students accepted into the Bridge program will take 4 bridge courses (11 units) and upon successful completion will receive priority enrollment to the next FNP application. Student must maintain their eligibility throughout the Bridge program and meet the FNP requirements by the start of the FNP program.
Eligibility Requirements

- Non-Nursing Baccalaureate Degree from a regionally accredited institution
- Associate Degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution
- CA RN License (Proof by Community Health Orientation in August)
- Statistics course successfully completed (Grade of C or better for an Undergraduate Statistics course/ Grade of B or better for a Graduate Statistics course)
- Minimum 3.0 GPA in the last 60 units

Cost
There is no fee to apply to the program. Each unit is $625. (Excludes textbooks, lab supplies and other costs incurred for the program).
No financial aid is available for the RN-MSN Bridge program.
How to Apply
Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Incomplete applications will not be evaluated. If a high volume of qualified applicants is reached, the application period could close early.
