Our Mission
We support the University’s mission by serving the Central
Valley with innovative programs delivered in alternative formats
and locations. Collaborating with college partners, programs are
designed to maximize access in order to meet the existing and
emerging educational and workforce needs of our region.
Extended Education
Extended Education serves the Central Valley community
through non-traditional University Degrees, Certificate Programs,
Specialized Training, and Service all designed to meet our
community’s educational, workforce, and professional development
needs. We strive
to be a leader in the Central Valley for Educational Outreach by
increasing access for all learners, collaborating with
communities, promoting lifelong learning, and maximizing
innovation.
International Education
The Office of International Education offers a wide variety of
programs for people to experience the world and develop a global
mindset. Study in the heart of California in a peaceful
parklike setting covered with trees and water features.
Stanislaus State, or “Stan State,” located in Turlock, CA, is a
charming mid-sized city with a population of 75,000. Students are
able to make friends easily and enjoy all that California has to
offer while feeling safe and connected to the community.
