RN and N.P. licensure in California. Nursing license must be
recognized as valid for practice within the state of California
during the complete course of study

English proficiency for non-native speakers (Minimum TOEFL
score of 92, minimum ILTS score of 7)
Hold a master’s, post-graduate, or doctoral degree from a
nurse practitioner program accredited by the Commission on
Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or the Accreditation
Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) (formerly NLNAC |
National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission)

Course pre-requisites: Must hold a master’s degree from
an accredited school of nursing as a Family Nurse
Practitioner
Students are required to be admitted to the Post Graduate
Psychiatric APRN certificate
