Information Sessions

Overview

Congratulations on your interest in Study Abroad! To move toward your goal, take the following steps:

Step 1:  Attend an Information Session

Attend a Study Abroad Information Session. This is your first step to studying abroad. All Information Sessions last approximately 45 minutes to 75 minutes. During the Information Session, we explore both providers’ websites, discuss scholarships and financial, and give an overview of the application process. Attending an information session does not commit you to study abroad but it does give you the tools to find the program that best fits your academic and financial needs. Attending an Information Session is mandatory in order to meet with the Study Abroad Advisor.

Information Sessions are currently held remotely via Zoom.

If you aren’t able to attend any of these dates, you can watch our pre-recorded session!

Notice: If students participate in the previously recorded information session, they will need to complete the Study Abroad Information Session Attendance Form in order for the participation to be documented.

Step 2:  Complete your Goals Worksheet & Set Up an Appointment

After attending an Information Session and Completing your Goals Worksheet (Purple Sheet). Contact the Education Abroad Coordinator to set up a one-on-one appointment. During this appointment, you will work together to define and clarify your goals and program needs, and to select a program on the basis of your qualifications and interests. Once you have selected the appropriate program, you can begin the application process.
