Interested in serving in the Peace Corps? Join us on November 16 at 12:30 pm during our International Education week to learn about volunteer experiences and service and gain tips to guide you through the application process.

Do you speak a language other than English? Are you familiar with a culture outside of those common in the United States? The Language Social is one of the best ways to introduce language and culture to people. Come prepared to teach us some of the basic words or even some unique words that don’t exist in other cultures.

Study Abroad Information Session
12:00 pm – 1:00 pm
This is your first step to studying abroad. All Information Sessions last approximately 45 minutes to 75 minutes. During the Information Session, we explore both providers’ websites, discuss scholarships and financial, and give an overview of the application process. Attending an information session does not commit you to study abroad but it does give you the tools to find the program that best fits your academic and financial needs.

Study Abroad will have a table in the quad where students can walk up and ask questions about programs, courses and financial aid in regards to study abroad at Stanislaus.

Four students will discuss and answer questions about their real-life study abroad experiences!
Study Abroad Forum
9:00 am – 3:00 pm
13 Students are presenting about their study abroad experiences in countries all over the world! They discuss food, housing, courses and all their favorite parts about their experiences.
11:00 am - 1:00 pm
Did you grow up outside of the United States? Participate in the
Cultural Pop-up and share your culture with us! What is your
favorite dish? Where is your hometown and what is it
like? Your favorite city? Anything! We would love to learn
more about your culture from any aspect! To
participate, create a 5-10 min presentation and slide deck
(PowerPoint, Sway, etc) of no more than 5 slides. Email us your
slides at email@example.com by November 5th to
