Stanislaus State’s online RN to BSN program has added another feather to its cap after being ranked as the fourth most affordable in the nation by BestColleges.com, highlighting its exceptional value.

BestColleges.com, an online resource for college planning and advice, announced the results of its annual ranking in late January.

The ranking places the program at the forefront of affordability. The report also cited Stan State’s varied accessibility options for students and its flexibility for working nurses as qualities that contributed to the University’s high ranking.

“We are thrilled to receive this recognition,” said RN-BSN Program Director Sherry Roper. “We are dedicated to providing an affordable and high-quality program for nursing professionals to advance their nursing career.”

The University’s online RN to BSN program is designed to meet the needs of working registered nurses seeking educational and professional advancement. Students can apply real-world solutions in their current positions immediately.

According to BestColleges.com, features that elevated Stan State include students being able to complete clinical assignments locally and the program’s fast pace that allows them  to complete the program in 12 months.

The ranking is the latest accolade for the School of Nursing and its programs. Earlier this year, RNCareers.org ranked the traditional RN to BSN program No. 2 in California. Last fall, U.S. News & World Report  included Stan State’s undergraduate BSN program among the top 400 in the nation.
